To ask the Leader of the House, with reference to (a) her oral contribution on 11 January 2024, Official Report, columns 455-456 and (b) figures stated in the Office for Budget Responsibility’s Public finances databank – December 2023, published on 23 December 2023, on what evidential basis she stated that the Government has managed to have a balanced budget.

Named day
Named day questions only occur in the House of Commons. The MP tabling the question specifies the date on which they should receive an answer. MPs may not table more than five named day questions on a single day.
