To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether he has (a) made an assessments of the prevalence of and (b) had recent discussions with stakeholders on the barriers to diagnosis faced by people with undiagnosed coeliac disease; and if he will make a statement.

No specific assessment has been made nor have discussions with stakeholders been had. It is the responsibility of integrated care boards (ICBs) to make available appropriate provision to meet the health and care needs of their local population, including the diagnosis of coeliac disease.
