To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, what percentage of social housing tenants were in rent arrears (a) in 2023 and (b) in 2010.

The English Housing Survey provides annual data on the proportion of social renters who are in rent arrears. This data is available for 2011-12 to 2021-22 and is published online here.
