Compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, and other foreign export control rules which may apply to the equipment and technology that the Ministry of Defence (MOD) procures, is an inherent and ongoing element built into regular programme management and operational activities. Therefore, its costs cannot be identified separately by the MOD.
