To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of the impact of NHS nurse vacancies on care for patients with long covid.

No formal assessment made as National Health Service post-COVID-19 services are comprised of multidisciplinary teams, including nurses.
We are increasing the number of nurses by 50,000, in addition to the retention of the existing workforce, increasing training and education routes into nursing and using international recruitment opportunities to supply the NHS with a long-term sustainable nursing workforce.
