To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, with reference to the oral evidence to the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee on 19 May, if she will provide the source of the opinion poll that stated 53 per cent of the UK public were unaware that Channel 4 is currently in public ownership.

The polling cited by the Secretary of State was conducted by the consultants Redfield and Wilton who found that 53% of people thought Channel 4 was privately owned.
