The Foreign Secretary has regular contact with foreign counterparts about Afghanistan, including at the recent G7 Foreign Ministers meeting. They addressed the current security, humanitarian, and human rights situation as well as longer term prospects for the country and region. FCDO Ministers and the Foreign Secretary will continue to engage international partners in support of UK objectives and long-term stability for the Afghan people.
