To ask Her Majesty's Government what plans they have to utilise the police to help regulate the Homes for Ukraine scheme.

The Home Office runs standard security checks on all visa applications and will do so for Homes for Ukraine beneficiaries and sponsors. The local authority will also complete checks on the accommodation and living arrangements very shortly after the individual and family arrives and decide which type of DBS checks are required in line with government guidance. I refer the Noble Lord to the guidance for local authorities which contains further details and has been published at: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/homes-for-ukraine-guidance-for-councils.
