National Economic Recovery Taskforce (Logistics)

Question for Cabinet Office

UIN 136574, tabled on 8 March 2022

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, which Minister chairs the National Economic Recovery Taskforce (Logistics); and when the most recent meeting of that taskforce on logistics took place.

Answered on

14 March 2022

The National Economic Recovery Taskforce (Logistics) Cabinet Committee was announced on 14 September 2021. When the Prime Minister’s Cabinet Committee structures were refreshed, was updated in October 2021 and this no longer included the National Economic Recovery Taskforce (Logistics).

Logistics and supply chains remain a priority for the Government and are discussed regularly by Ministers in a range of forums.

It is a long-established precedent that information about the discussions that have taken place in Cabinet and its Committees, and how often they have met, is not normally shared publicly.
