To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, with reference to his Department's announcement of a call for evidence on the use of snares, when his Department plans to launch that call for evidence; how long that call for evidence will last; and what stages that call for evidence will comprise.

The call for evidence on the use of snares will be launched in due course. The call for evidence is planned to run for 12 weeks and will be launched online. After closing the call for evidence, responses will be analysed and a summary of responses will be published online.
Named day
Named day questions only occur in the House of Commons. The MP tabling the question specifies the date on which they should receive an answer. MPs may not table more than five named day questions on a single day.
