The UK has been a world leader in ensuring developing countries can access vaccines, through our early support to the COVAX scheme and commitment to donate surplus vaccines. Of the 32.2 million vaccines we have donated so far, 29.5 million vaccines have been delivered to countries in need. These vaccines have benefitted more than 30 countries. A further 2.6 million are with COVAX to be shipped to countries in the coming weeks.
