To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether it is his Department's policy to ensure that covid-19 lateral flow tests remain free of charge and readily available to the general public.

From 1 April 2022, free access to asymptomatic and symptomatic testing for the general public in England will end. We will continue to provide free testing for some at risk groups. Further details on eligible groups will be made available in due course.
