The UK Health Security Agency has published guidance for all National Health Service organisations on infection prevention and control in health and care settings to prevent the transmission of seasonal respiratory infections, including COVID-19. The guidance is available at the following link:

The guidance sets out the mitigations in place to protect both patients and staff from respiratory infections, including screening, triaging, patient placement, testing, hierarchy of controls, administrative measures and isolation requirements for patients with respiratory symptoms.
