We have had no specific discussions.
Since 2016, we have provided additional funding for children and young people's community eating disorder services every year, with £53 million annually from 2021/22. This will enhance the development of more than 70 new or improved community eating disorder teams. We have announced an additional £79 million in 2021/22 to expand children’s mental health services to allow a further 2,000 children and young people to access eating disorder services. NHS England and NHS Improvement have announced a further £40 million in 2021/22 to address the impact of the pandemic on children and young people’s mental health, including eating disorders.
