The Government takes the welfare of all animals seriously and is committed to raising standards of animal welfare both at home and abroad. The Government has committed to legislation to ban the advertising and offering for sale of specific, unacceptable animal practices in tourism abroad. We have been discussing these proposals with the devolved administrations and will continue to do so.
