To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what estimate he has made of the greenhouse gas emissions of the UK's Carrier Strike Group 21 during Operation Fortis.

The Ministry of Defence is committed to supporting the Government's commitment to Net Zero Green House Gas Emissions by 2050.
The flagship of the Carrier Strike Group, HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH has been designed, as far as possible, to minimise impact on the environment, incorporating many new technologies, such as integrated platform management system which allows only the minimum number of engines to be operated, adapting to demand.
