To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many and what proportion of (a) single claims and (b) multiple claimant cases are outstanding and awaiting determination by an employment tribunal.

The most recent employment tribunal data covers the period up to March 2021. This is because ET has moved to a new case management system and HMCTS is currently working to incorporate the new IT system alongside longer-established data sources to provide a more complete and consistent data set for this jurisdiction.

Named day
Named day questions only occur in the House of Commons. The MP tabling the question specifies the date on which they should receive an answer. MPs may not table more than five named day questions on a single day.
