To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps he is taking to increase the awareness of the importance of CPR skills and accessibility of Automated External Defibrillators across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

NHS England and NHS Improvement are working with St John Ambulance to increase the awareness of the importance of CPR in England, as this is a devolved matter. Face to face and virtual training is being provided to develop the skills required in the use of Automated External Defibrillators by individuals in community settings.
