To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what his Department's guidance is on how soon after recovering from a covid-19 infection a person can receive a covid-19 vaccination.

Public Health England has issued guidance for healthcare practitioners which states that vaccination should be deferred in those who have tested positive for COVID-19 infection until they have recovered approximately four weeks after the onset of symptoms, or four weeks from the first confirmed positive test in those who are asymptomatic. This guidance is available at the following link:
