Health Education England (HEE) is working with system partners to establish the number of Internal Medicine Year 3 posts required regionally across England, including in the North East, to meet service needs.
HEE are working locally with trusts to identify the final number of posts required and, if needed, create additional capacity where it is possible to do so.
