Driving Instruction: Coronavirus

Question for Department for Transport

UIN 112102, tabled on 5 November 2020

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what assessment he has made of the financial effect on driving instructors of the November 2020 covid-19 restrictions.

Answered on

10 November 2020

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency does not employ driving instructors; it licences approved driving instructors (ADI) to provide paid tuition. It is therefore not possible to assess what financial effect the November 2020 covid-19 restrictions has, or will have, on them.
