To ask Her Majesty's Government what plans they have to introduce a formal definition of racism and discrimination for the NHS.

The statutory definition of racism is set out in the Equality Act 2010 (section 9). Key statutory definitions of discrimination are set out in sections 13, 19, 26 and 27 of the same Act.
There are no plans, of which we are aware, to introduce different formal definitions of racism or discrimination for the National Health Service that would differ from the statutory definitions.
