The number of HMRC staff employed in Scotland is as follows:

1 April 2015: 8,450

1 April 2016: 9,256

1 April 2017: 9,038

1 April 2018: 8,592

1 April 2019: 8,201

1 April 2020: 7,881

1 September 2020: 7,726
