To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether in response to the covid-19 outbreak there have been changes to the opt-out options for citizens to choose whether they wish to share their GP patient data throughout the NHS.

The Government has made no changes to patients’ ability to opt out of confidential patient information, held on them by general practitioner practices and being used for purposes other than their individual care in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
