To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether contact information shared with the NHS Test and Trace scheme will be passed to the police or other authorities in the event that it indicates that the infected person has broken lockdown rules during the covid-19 outbreak.

The Government launched its new NHS Test and Trace service on 28 May 2020. This includes enhanced contact tracing.
The NHS Test and Trace service does not share confidential information on the identity of a person with COVID-19 with the police or other authorities.
