To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what assessment he has made of the regional economic effect of the covid-19 outbreak.

Government officials are working with local leaders and across Whitehall to understand the regional picture. The Government is committed to supporting all regions and nations of the UK. We have provided an unprecedented national package of support in recent weeks, supporting businesses, protecting jobs, and providing our public services with the resources they need to cope with the pressures of Covid-19 in the short term.
