To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, if he will take steps to co-ordinate the stockpiling of non-medical face masks for public use during the covid-19 outbreak.

The Government has recently published guidance on staying safe outside the home during the COVID-19 pandemic:

The guidance recommends that people should aim to wear a face-covering in enclosed spaces where social distancing is not always possible and they come into contact with others that they do not normally meet.
