Coronavirus: Social Distancing

Question for Department of Health and Social Care

UIN HL2768, tabled on 18 March 2020

To ask Her Majesty's Government what plans they have, if any, to issue social distancing guidance for delivery drivers due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Everyone has a duty to comply with the advice provided by the Government in relation to COVID-19, in order to protect both themselves and others. A copy of Guidance for employers and businesses on coronavirus (COVID-19) is attached.

When people order home deliveries, they should tell drivers to leave deliveries outside for collection. Delivery drivers should not be invited into a person’s home.
