Question for Department of Health and Social Care

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what guidance his Department has published on cleaning (a) GP surgeries and (b) other medical facilities after exposure to covid-19; and what guidance his Department has published on ensuring that local cleaning companies carrying out such work at those facilities are appropriately trained.

‘COVID-19: Guidance for infection prevention and control in healthcare settings’ has been published which covers all aspects of prevention and control for primary care, secondary care, occupational health care, out patient, dental surgeries, home visits, ambulances, emergency departments and acute assessment units. This guidance is available at the following links:
