The testing and subsequent treatment for covid-19 have been added to the list of communicable diseases that qualify for free NHS treatment.

The Home Office has also put in place a range of measures to support those affected by travel restrictions associated with coronavirus. A dedicated coronavirus immigration helpline has been set up to deal with queries. The freephone number is 0800 678 1767 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).
