To ask Her Majesty's Government what steps they are taking to improve life expectancy for women in the UK.

The Government wants everyone to have the same opportunity to have a long, healthy life, whoever they are, wherever they live and whatever their background.
The best way to improve life expectancy is to prevent health problems from arising in the first place. The Prevention Green Paper published last year set out plans to shift the focus from cure to prevention and the NHS Long Term Plan makes clear commitments to strengthen the National Health Service’s contribution to prevention and health inequalities.
