To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, whether it is her policy to use a biota sampling methodology to assess the chemical status of surface water bodies in the next round of the Government's River Basin Management Plans.

The intention is to use biota sampling to inform the next chemical status classification in 2020.
