Fires related to smart meters are captured under the category ‘Other’ and cannot be identified separately in the Home Office data collection.
National Statistics on the causes and locations of fires are published annually in, ‘Detailed analysis of fires attended by FRSs, England’. The most recent publication for 2017/18 can be found here:
