To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether his Department plans to give Metro Mayors a formal role in the (a) design and (b) delivery of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

I met with the Metro Mayors on the 22 January and will carry on this engagement throughout the year.

We intend to consult shortly on the design of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Final decisions on UK Shared Prosperity Fund will be made during Spending Review.
