The UK is firmly committed to protecting ethnic and religious minorities from persecution and violence. We work to ensure that aid reaches the most vulnerable including those from religious minorities where they constitute part of that category. The situation of minority communities, including faith communities, is taken into account when assessing those most in need and we raise the issue regularly with partner countries.
