As at 23 October, there are approximately 110 UK Service personnel and 130 Ministry of Defence civillian staff permanently based in Saudi Arabia. The total number changes frequently due to a number factors including staff rotation.

Of these, only the Royal Navy Liaison Team (four personnel) permanently delivers training to Saudi officer cadets in Jbail.

All other UK training is provided by visiting short term training teams.

The information requested for previous years is not held centrally.
