Implementing the strategy set out in the Housing White Paper to fix our broken housing market remains a top priority for this Government. That is why at Autumn Budget 2017 we went even further announcing a programme of reform across planning, investment and transforming our delivery capacity. This included further planning reforms and £15.3 billion of additional financial support. We are making good progress and in 2016/17 we delivered 217,000 additional homes, the highest in all but one of the last 30 years.
