To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of reports of Iranian Sufi Gonabadi Dervishes being arrested and the treatment by Iranian authorities of Dr Noor Ali Tabandeh.

We are concerned by the reports of arrests of Sufi Gonabadi Dervishes in Iran and the treatment of their spiritual leader, Dr Noor Ali Tabandeh, who is under house arrest. We call on Iran to respect the rights and freedoms of all its citizens no matter what their religion or belief.
