To ask Her Majesty's Government whether the UK has pledged to support Sudan's removal from the United States' list of state sponsors of terrorism; if so, upon what grounds that decision was made; and what is their assessment of the human rights situation in that country.

Sudan’s removal from the United States’ State Sponsor of Terrorism List is a bilateral issue between the United States and Sudan. However, we encourage Sudan to take the action necessary to work towards removal from the list, including by making the necessary progress on human rights and macroeconomic reform.
