The UK believes it is vitally important to achieve justice for victims of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. It is essential that perpetrators of the most serious crimes do not enjoy impunity. The UK is a party to the International Criminal Court and the Geneva Conventions. Our international obligations are enacted in UK domestic legislation. There have been no recent reviews conducted in relation to the existing legislation.
