To ask Her Majesty's Government what steps they are taking to diminish the impact of Brexit on energy trading following the report of the European Union Committee, Brexit: energy security (HL Paper 63, 10th Report, 2017–19) published on 29 January.

The UK Government is considering the report of the European Union Committee on Brexit and energy security published on 29 January and will respond shortly.

The Government is currently considering all aspects of its future relationship with the EU, including in energy. Our priority is to maintain affordable, clean and secure energy supplies for businesses and households.
