Question for Home Office

UIN HL4224, tabled on 14 December 2017

To ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the Written Ministerial Statement by Baroness Williams of Trafford on 11 December (HLWS325), what role Police and Crime Commissioners are expected to play in relation to their new approach to the threat of economic crime.

The economic crime reforms focus on greater cooperation across government, law enforcement, regulators and the private sector. PCCs will retain their responsibility for holding local forces to account in terms of their response to economic crime and will play an important role in improving cooperation between the local and national response.
