We are leading the world by ending unabated coal generation in Great Britain by 2025. The Department consulted on proposals on ending unabated coal generation last year and we will soon be publishing our detailed government response.

The positive example we are setting to the world will yield significant benefits and help put the world on track to meet the ambition agreed at Paris in 2015.
