To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many apprenticeships have been taken up by women born in the 1950s after they reached the age of 60.

There have been 8,300 apprenticeship starts since the 2010/11 academic year by women aged over 60 and born in the 1950s.

Please note data is based on administrative returns for academic years 2010/11 to 2016/17 and the data for 2016/17 is based on a provisional year number. This figure is rounded to the nearest hundred.
