To ask Her Majesty’s Government what progress has been made on the development of the EU Gendarmerie Force.

The European Gendarmerie Force (EUROGENDFOR) was established in 2004. Representatives from the police forces of Spain, France, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, and Poland participate in the organisation. The UK does not. The EUROGENDFOR is not part of the European Union framework.
