To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what progress has been made on investigating historical allegations of abuse at Aston Hall, Derbyshire; and if he will make a statement.

The police investigation into this matter remains on-going. Derbyshire Police has advised that the scale and nature of this enquiry naturally means that this is a protracted and complex investigation.
The timescales for any system-wide Serious Case Review or Learning Review will depend on the outcome of current police enquiries.
