To ask the Secretary of State for Wales, what steps he is taking to promote the role of Welsh women in building a more gender-inclusive society.

I would like to pay tribute to the Rt hon Member who was the first female Secretary of State for Wales and will already be aware that the UK Government is fully committed to promoting the role of women.

Welsh women from all walks of life, such as Professor Julie Williams, are making a difference.
