In June 2016, a pilot programme was started offering human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination to men who have sex with men (MSM) up to the age of 45 attending participating HIV and genitourinary medicine clinics.

Data on the number of eligible MSM receiving HPV vaccination during the pilot is being collected but has not been validated. It is anticipated that initial validated data up to the end of March 2017 will be included in the pilot evaluation report, currently expected early summer 2017.
