To ask Her Majesty’s Government how they intend to respond to the ruling of the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights in the case Paradiso and Campanelli v. Italy; and what assessment they have made of the implications of the case for surrogacy and family law.

The Government is not planning to make any response to the judgment, concerning Italian domestic law, by the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights. No assessment has been made of the implications of the case for United Kingdom surrogacy and family law.
