The independent Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) is responsible for producing the official forecasts. The OBR have made no assessment of the proportion of UK GDP that will be represented by small business manufacturing in 2020. However, using figures from the Office for National Statistics it can be shown that small business manufacturing made up approximately 2.1 per cent of the UK economy in 2015.
